Since he started the piano and guitar as a kid, Christophe's approach to music has always been playful and intuituve -a constant exploration of new sources of randomness and chaotic beauty. With influences ranging from indie rock and Berlin techno to world music and movie soundtracks, Christophe’s tracks and sets always reflect the contrast between melancholic melodies and deep grooves. For his debut at Bar Tausend on April 9th, Christophe will offer an exclusive all-night DJ set blending his own productions with those of his favorite artists. Expect a long hypnotic journey through deep house, melodic techno and atmospheric electronica.

Montreal-born, Berlin-based DJ Scoopsi brings a sound that’s both elegant and energetic—rooted in minimal house, yet shaped by influences from jazz, hip-hop, classical music and rock’n’roll. With a strong sense for groove and long-form flow, her sets move effortlessly between depth and lightness, building organically and knowing exactly when to lean into the push. Over the past years in Berlin’s underground, she’s played spaces including Watergate, Sisyphos and Hoppetosse, alongside international dates across Europe and North America. On 10 April, Scoopsi brings that mix of control, groove and momentum to our floor. She’s also a resident/curator with Zapped Records — a Berlin collective-run label and party series focused on stripped-back house & techno with a strong emphasis on groove.

Berlin-based Spencer Parker is one of Europe’s most in-demand DJs, known for high-energy sets that move through underground house with flashes of techno, disco and hi-NRG—from deep cuts to timeless classics, always with momentum at the core. A regular guest at Berghain, he’s equally at home shaping the room in Panorama Bar as he is taking it darker on the main floor. His productions, remixes and re-edits are consistently supported by selectors such as Ryan Elliot, Ogazón, Carista, DVS1, Gerd Janson, Lala and Marcel Dettmann. In the studio, his main outlet is his own Work Them Records, alongside releases on Radio Slave’s Rekids and his imprint It’s Not Over.

Sado Opera combines theatrical aesthetics with a dark, electronic sound between house and techno. Her sets are defined by clear grooves, hypnotic structures and a deliberately crafted tension that builds slowly and carries the dancefloor throughout. Visual staging and musical dramaturgy intertwine to create a dense, atmospheric club experience. Sado Opera stands for a distinct, performative approach that connects classic club music with a strong visual and artistic signature.

Berlin-based since 2017, Ligal Tamir brings a dancefloor-driven set that moves freely between house, breaks, indie dance, dark disco and tech house. Expect genre-hopping with personality: playful moments, deeper turns, and dirty basslines—always with a clear sense of groove and timing. A lifelong music collector and DJ, Ligal plays to create real reactions in the room: smiles, laughter, and that moment when the floor locks in. Her recent years have taken her through clubs and festivals in and beyond Berlin, including Fusion Festival, Mensch Meier, Kater Blau, Renate, Odonien and Wilde Möhre, among others.

Completing the lineup, LUMES (Karlsruhe) brings a flexible, floor-aware approach shaped by a broad musical background, and he’s also active as an event organizer. Lo Stine is a Mexico-born, Berlin-based DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist known for blending deep house, indie dance, techno, and driving rhythms into immersive, emotionally charged sets. With a background in cultural promotion and festival production, she brings a strong narrative sensibility to the dancefloor, crafting journeys that move between tension, release, and unexpected shifts. Now based in Berlin, she has performed at key institutions such as Sisyphos and HÖR, while also appearing in Paris, Portugal, and Morocco, where she collaborated with the Soundsisters Women's Collective. Her trajectory also spans Mexico’s club and festival circuit, with performances at EDC México’s iconic Neon Garden Stage, Bahidorá, Corona Capital, Trópico, and Akamba, as well as underground parties and clubs such as YuYu, Sunday Sunday, Fünk, and Crania in San José del Cabo. Throughout her career, she has shared lineups with artists including Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Rebolledo, Jimi Jules, DJ Tennis, Marco Carola, and Maceo Plex. She is also the founder of XOK, a Berlin-based collective that explores tension and release through music and art, with events and residencies at venues such as Neue Zukunft. On Friday, 24 April 2026, CHUKWU plays a vinyl-only set at Bar Tausend—deep, groove-led house with a playful edge and a strong sense of pacing. Outside the booth, she comes from elite sport: under her real name Carlotta Nwajide, she competed for Germany in rowing at 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her rowing career includes a European Championship title and a World Championship silver medal. She discovered her passion for vinyl DJing in October 2024 and has been fully immersed ever since, leaning into the physicality and focus of an all-vinyl approach.

Marie Chain is a singer, producer, and DJ based in Berlin, whose sets go far beyond conventional club music. Drawing from house, organic, tribal, and melodic influences, she blends electronic sounds with live vocals to create dense, atmospheric arcs of tension. Her performances are less about pure mixing and more about a journey — moving between driving rhythms, quiet moments, and intense peaks. On May 7 at Bar Tausend, CARDI-O brings a driving, energetic sound across the full house spectrum—fluid, textured, and always rooted in the moment. With Vietnamese roots and based in Berlin, she plays with a strong sense of identity and an intuitive feel for groove, crowd, and atmosphere, letting sets evolve organically as the room opens up. Her sound has been featured on platforms like HÖR Berlin and radio series including RBL – Flirt Radio, Hanoi Underground Movement, Bögen Radio and Fadenfunk, and her club references span Berlin staples such as Renate, Beate Uwe and Crack Bellmer, alongside international stops from Tbilisi to Hanoi and Mexico. Expect a set that connects people through rhythm—focused, energetic, and built for the floor.

LIZZN is a Berlin-based DJ whose background in classical instruments (piano, flute) and dance feeds directly into her energetic, rhythm-first approach behind the decks. She started DJing in 2021 and has quickly developed a signature that blends high-energy, “sexy” house with smooth, melodic lift—designed to keep the room moving while staying welcoming and inclusive. Beyond the booth, she’s a co-founder and creative lead of House Queens, a community-driven event concept that champions inclusive dancefloors and brings house-focused lineups to venues across Berlin. She also runs the betterlizzen podcast, where she interviews artists and digs into the culture behind the music, and she curates mixes outside the club context as well (including music programming for cycling classes). Altogether, LIZZN sits at the intersection of DJing, curation, and community-building—pushing feel-good house energy with intention.

Flashbaxx (Daniel Stenger) returns to Tausend Disco with a sound that’s built for dancers who like groove with musical detail: feel-good, funk-leaning selections that move smoothly from downbeat into disco and house, weaving in boogie, jazz and funk along the way. Active internationally since being discovered by the Mainz lounge label Wohnton in 2003, his jazz-funk productions have featured on compilations released via Sony Music, EMI and Ministry of Sound. More recently, his Take Care My Friend EP landed on NuNorthern Soul (2022), followed by a remix EP (2023) with contributions from producers including Atjazz and Moods. Since 2024 he’s also been active again as an electronic live act with disco/house mash-ups, and in 2025 he released the Gazelle EP on Leipzig’s Groovers Traxx. Away from the booth, Stenger is based in Aschaffenburg, hosts the monthly “Groovers Takeover” on Sunshine Live, and spent 2016–2025 as part of the podcast Proseccolaune—which explains the subtle humor that often shows up in his sets.

Berlin-based DJ Deniz Arslan joins us on Thursday, 14 May 2026. As co-founder of the party series Drop Zone, he’s played everything from intimate booths to international club floors across Europe and the Middle East, always focused on connection and flow. A dedicated vinyl digger, Deniz builds sets rooted in house, deep house, garage and disco—respecting the foundations of classic house while mixing raw basement energy with soulful, hands-in-the-air moments. He’s also active in the house dance community, living the music through movement as much as through sound, and constantly digging for new and old grooves to play and dance to.

On 13 May for Tausend Live, Olla & the Groove Markers bring a live groove set built around timeless soul and funk songcraft—expect music by Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Prince and more, performed with a dancefloor-first energy. Fronted by Berlin-based vocalist Olla—a versatile singer whose repertoire spans jazz, rock classics, blues, country, soul and contemporary songs—the band pairs her vocals with Davide Incorvaia on piano (a Berlin-based jazz pianist/composer with a strong classical+jazz foundation), Richard “Richie” Müller on bass (Berlin-based electric bassist), Yatziv Caspi on drums (drummer/percussionist and tabla player), plus Arthur Rudkevich on sax.
