Marie Chain is a Berlin based awarded singer, songwriter, pianist, DJ, producer, and event organizer based. She writes her songs while touring and traveling the world, capturing the sounds and influences she encounters along the way. At Bar Tausend she will play a summer-vibes DJ House Set for a perfect summer night fusing electronic music with Afro House, Latin House, Disco House and Berlin vibes. Marie Chain began classical piano and vocal training at the age of five, her career now includes collaborations with artists such as Alligatoah and the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra, as well as performances at festivals including the Cairo Jazz Festival, Indian Spirit, Blues and Jazz Festival Bamberg, Rudolstadt Festival and Feel Festival. She has also performed in renowned venues such as Quasimodo Berlin, B-Flat, Huxley’s Neue Welt and Klunkerkranich, and even for the Federal Ministry in Berlin. In 2023, she won the German Songwriting Award for her song “Freedom” and in 2025 she received the German Singer-Songwriter Prize 2025, and the German Rock & Pop Award 2025.

Cedric hosts the night with the warm, groove-led sound that shapes Le Salon Privé: house at the core, touched by disco, afro-house and a steady sense for room energy. Joining him is Berlin-based DJ and producer Schiela, whose releases on labels like Correspondant and Gudu Records sit between high-energy house, acid-leaning club pressure and Italo-flavoured moments. His recent tracks have also received heavyweight remix treatment from names such as Dusky and Floorplan, underlining a sound that’s both playful and built for the floor. This Saturday, Sam Paradise brings his house-driven sound to Tausend House at Bar Tausend. Since 2019, he’s been shaping the scene as co-founder and A&R of Valencia-based house label theBasement Discos, which won Beatport Hype Label of the Year 2024. As a DJ, digger and producer, Sam moves between jazzy and balearic shades, disco, power house and 90s-inspired club energy — always with an ear for catchy piano riffs, funky basslines and vocal-driven moments. His work with theBasement Discos has connected him to releases by artists such as Todd Edwards, Rick Wade, Coeo and Kid Simius, while his own productions have been played by Cinthie, Dam Swindle, Demuja and Herr Krank. Expect a warm, energetic house set built on groove, discovery and feel-good dancefloor pressure.

This Friday, Annina joins Tausend House with a sound that is upfront, groovy and sharply built for the floor. Finnish-born and Berlin-based, the DJ and producer moves between stripped-back house and techno, sizzling electro and breakbeats — creating sets that feel tight, percussive and full of momentum. After first entering the underground scene in Sydney, Annina has become an active force in Berlin’s club landscape. She is co-founder of the forward-thinking Zapped Records imprint, which also serves as the home for her Soft Baddies EP in 2025, alongside further releases on Paulum and Perception Records. With appearances at venues such as Club der Visionäre, Hoppetosse, Renate, H0L0 New York and Culture Box Copenhagen, Annina brings an international perspective to the booth — guiding the floor through carefully selected, percussion-focused grooves with depth, pressure and playful turns.

Upcoming Saturday at Bar Tausend, Mr. Turner and T-Bone come together for a Tausend Disco night built on records, edits, groove and long-standing dancefloor experience. T-Bone, also known as Mondi, is a Cologne-based vinyl selector and DJ active since 1993. A resident at Suderman & Spirits and a regular at KitKat’s Disco Bizarre parties, he comes from one of Germany’s foundational reggae and dancehall soundsystem cultures with Wadada The Original Outlaw Sound — but his range moves far beyond that: house, UK garage, 2-step, disco, boogie, funk, soul and “big people music” with warmth and pressure. Mr. Turner, aka Petko Turner of Basspatrol Records, brings decades of DJ experience, edits, remixes and production work to the booth. Known as a deejay, audio editor, remixer and ghost producer, he connects disco, funk, house and leftfield club music with a deep edit culture and a sharp sense for the floor. Two selectors, two deep record histories — one night of groove-heavy disco energy.

Thursday night in Berlin: the doors of Bar Tausend open for exceptional drinks, carefully selected music and a special night beneath the tracks of Friedrichstraße Station. On Saturday, 25 July, Lucas Vazz brings his distinctive blend of house, disco and contemporary electronic grooves to Bar Tausend. With a refined sense of rhythm, dynamics and atmosphere, he crafts sets that unfold organically and draw the dancefloor deeper into motion with every track. His musical approach combines warm house grooves, funky disco influences and modern club sounds into a fluid and energetic journey. Rather than relying on quick peaks, his focus lies on groove, flow and the connection between music, space and the crowd. On Saturday, August 1, Cliff Goncalo takes over Bar Tausend. The Berlin-based DJ and curator is known for an open, energetic sound spanning house, carefully selected edits and rhythmic riddim influences. His sets move beyond rigid genre boundaries, combining warm grooves, distinctive vocals and driving percussion into a fluid musical journey. As a co-initiator of Better Together Entertainment, Tollhouse Berlin and The Live Room, he does more than shape nights—he creates musical spaces centred around community and movement.
