On May 7 at Bar Tausend, CARDI-O brings a driving, energetic sound across the full house spectrum—fluid, textured, and always rooted in the moment. With Vietnamese roots and based in Berlin, she plays with a strong sense of identity and an intuitive feel for groove, crowd, and atmosphere, letting sets evolve organically as the room opens up. Her sound has been featured on platforms like HÖR Berlin and radio series including RBL – Flirt Radio, Hanoi Underground Movement, Bögen Radio and Fadenfunk, and her club references span Berlin staples such as Renate, Beate Uwe and Crack Bellmer, alongside international stops from Tbilisi to Hanoi and Mexico. Expect a set that connects people through rhythm—focused, energetic, and built for the floor.

LIZZN is a Berlin-based DJ whose background in classical instruments (piano, flute) and dance feeds directly into her energetic, rhythm-first approach behind the decks. She started DJing in 2021 and has quickly developed a signature that blends high-energy, “sexy” house with smooth, melodic lift—designed to keep the room moving while staying welcoming and inclusive. Beyond the booth, she’s a co-founder and creative lead of House Queens, a community-driven event concept that champions inclusive dancefloors and brings house-focused lineups to venues across Berlin. She also runs the betterlizzen podcast, where she interviews artists and digs into the culture behind the music, and she curates mixes outside the club context as well (including music programming for cycling classes). Altogether, LIZZN sits at the intersection of DJing, curation, and community-building—pushing feel-good house energy with intention.

Flashbaxx (Daniel Stenger) returns to Tausend Disco with a sound that’s built for dancers who like groove with musical detail: feel-good, funk-leaning selections that move smoothly from downbeat into disco and house, weaving in boogie, jazz and funk along the way. Active internationally since being discovered by the Mainz lounge label Wohnton in 2003, his jazz-funk productions have featured on compilations released via Sony Music, EMI and Ministry of Sound. More recently, his Take Care My Friend EP landed on NuNorthern Soul (2022), followed by a remix EP (2023) with contributions from producers including Atjazz and Moods. Since 2024 he’s also been active again as an electronic live act with disco/house mash-ups, and in 2025 he released the Gazelle EP on Leipzig’s Groovers Traxx. Away from the booth, Stenger is based in Aschaffenburg, hosts the monthly “Groovers Takeover” on Sunshine Live, and spent 2016–2025 as part of the podcast Proseccolaune—which explains the subtle humor that often shows up in his sets.

Berlin-based DJ Deniz Arslan joins us on Thursday, 14 May 2026. As co-founder of the party series Drop Zone, he’s played everything from intimate booths to international club floors across Europe and the Middle East, always focused on connection and flow. A dedicated vinyl digger, Deniz builds sets rooted in house, deep house, garage and disco—respecting the foundations of classic house while mixing raw basement energy with soulful, hands-in-the-air moments. He’s also active in the house dance community, living the music through movement as much as through sound, and constantly digging for new and old grooves to play and dance to.

Saturday, 16 May at Bar Tausend: Kluntje b2b Gili — two selectors who like it groove-led, playful, and built to run for hours. Kluntje brings her signature “ZUCKERHOUSE” approach: quick, feel-good house with plenty of swing, moving between bright, driving moments and warmer, smoother stretches. Gili adds a wider palette shaped between Düsseldorf, Halle and Leipzig, shifting from downbeat foundations into housey pressure with touches of synth/acid, breaks and bass—always dialed into the room.

Fausto Anael is a Colombia-born, Chile-raised DJ and emerging producer whose sets are built as a slow “construction” between the atmospheric and the hypnotic. His sound moves through house and techno-leaning shades—often touching Afro / organic and deep house, with long blends and evolving tension designed to open up the room step by step. Shaped on the Mexico City / Tulum circuit, he’s played venues including MN Roy and multiple Tulum spots, and is connected to collectives like Ephimera and DISTINTO. Since 2024, he’s also been building his production path, leaning into afro-rooted influences and dynamic low-end to create tracks that feel spacious, warm, and dancefloor-ready.

For a night at Bar Tausend, Ecrin Hazer, miszo, and Müge come together as three Berlin-based selectors and radio hosts with distinct angles but a shared focus on flow and the room. Ecrin Hazer is known for genre-blending, leftfield sets that can weave from New Beat / EBM and synth-punk into industrial-leaning trance, mutant disco and experimental ambient, and she runs the monthly “MitSpinner” show on NARR Radio. miszo sits more house-forward—she’s a Berlin-based house DJ and radio host on Refuge Worldwide, and has also featured shows on stations like foundation.fm, SWU.FM and Radio80000. Müge brings an analogue, vinyl-leaning perspective as a Refuge Worldwide resident—often connecting ambient and breakbeats with dub, electronica and post-punk gems, depending on the setting.

Her voice remains at the center of every performance — guiding, structuring, and adding emotional depth to the set, while subtle violin elements build additional tension and atmosphere. Bandite approaches every set as a vocal performance: her voice carries, penetrates, and transforms the electronic material, charging it with emotion and turning the dancefloor into a living space. On Saturday, 30 May, Kristin Velvet lands at Bar Tausend with a house sound that nods to ’90s Chicago/Detroit and golden-era hip-hop, but always with a clean, forward-leaning edge. 2026 has already brought standout releases: her “Gratitude EP” on Exit Strategy (Innervisions’ sister label) and a Hot Creations EP, alongside ongoing output on Arms & Legs, the label she co-runs with Daniel Steinberg. A key part of her story is a seven-year residency at Watergate, plus appearances on platforms like Boiler Room—experience that shows in how she builds a night: energetic, functional, and never overworked. Her productions also continue to draw support from DJs across the spectrum, including Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, and Jimi Jules.

On 13 May for Tausend Live, Olla & the Groove Markers bring a live groove set built around timeless soul and funk songcraft—expect music by Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Prince and more, performed with a dancefloor-first energy. Fronted by Berlin-based vocalist Olla—a versatile singer whose repertoire spans jazz, rock classics, blues, country, soul and contemporary songs—the band pairs her vocals with Davide Incorvaia on piano (a Berlin-based jazz pianist/composer with a strong classical+jazz foundation), Richard “Richie” Müller on bass (Berlin-based electric bassist), Yatziv Caspi on drums (drummer/percussionist and tabla player), plus Arthur Rudkevich on sax.
