Ella Stracciatella joins us at Bar Tausend for Tausend Electronica on 5 March — and if you know, you know: she’s a peak-time guarantee. Expect a spellbinding blend of disco glitter, tech house, and electronic dance music, delivering pure booty-shakification across the dancefloor. Part of the LocArtista crew, Ella shines a spotlight on FLINTA* artists in her sets, weaving in everything from Azealia Banks to Peaches, plus irresistible remixes by Purple Disco Machine and Sofi Tukker. Le Salon Privé lands at Bar Tausend on Fri 06.03 from 10PM. Hosted by Cedric Marian, the night runs on a feel-good blend of House, Disco and Afro House — the kind of sound that moves fast, stays warm, and keeps the room locked in from first beat to last. TJOMA opens the doors with a disco/house vinyl set from 10PM, HINNI takes over with groove-forward selections, and Cedric brings it home with a high-energy, crowd-connected journey built for the late hours.

On 7 March, Bar Tausend welcomes DJ Amir (Kon & Amir / 180 Proof Records) for a special all-house set — deep, soulful, and built for the late hours, with that unmistakable crate-digger touch. Known worldwide for the cult Kon & Amir mixtape and compilation work, Amir connects the dots between classic house energy and its roots in disco, boogie, jazz, and rare groove, turning history into pure dancefloor momentum. Beyond the booth, he’s a true tastemaker: founder of 180 Proof Records, the label connected to Detroit’s Strata Records catalogue, and host of The Kronicles on NTS, where he traces influences “from house to disco, hip-hop to jazz.” With decades of industry craft behind him — from Fat Beats to Wax Poetics Records and beyond — Amir’s selections hit with purpose: warm, driving, and effortlessly deep.

Berlin-based DJ KLUNTJE brings her signature “ZUCKERHOUSE” sound to Bar Tausend — a playful, feel-good take on house with a quicker pulse and lots of groove. Behind the decks she moves between bright, driving moments and smoother selections (also connected to her second alias Jane Ulé), keeping the room in motion without losing the warm, musical flow.

Ceci Fierce delivers a House-driven set moving through Afro-leaning grooves, melodic/progressive lift, techier edges, and a touch of funky swing — energetic, clean mixing and a strong sense of flow from warm momentum to peak-time drive. Now also stepping into production, she’s released her debut single “Flames of Fall” on Chrom Recordings (incl. an instrumental mix), featured via the label’s Chromologic X, Vol. IX compilation. Expect a musical arc that keeps the room moving while leaving space for melody and emotion.

Berlin-based singer and songwriter Frankie Balou brings her band to Bar Tausend for Tausend Live. With a velvety-smooth voice rooted in soul and deep blues, she blends warmth and earthiness into performances that feel intimate and full-bodied. The set will feature new, unreleased originals alongside a handpicked selection of favorite covers — built for a unique midweek live night.
Her sound also draws on jazz and electronic influences, sitting naturally between club culture and live performance. Beyond her own songs, she’s lent her voice to collaborations with electronic artists, including Sharam Jey & Jon Sine (“Connections”) and LUNAZ (“Time After Time”), showing her range between live songwriting and club-ready productions.

Tigerskin is the alias of German producer Alex Krüger (also known as Dub Taylor) and a long-running name in the electronic scene. Active since the mid-’90s, his sound sits between deep, dub-tinged house and techno—groove-led, subtle, and built for long, hypnotic arcs. Across a huge discography and multiple aliases, he’s released on highly respected labels including Force Tracks, Morris Audio, Dessous, Dirt Crew, Suol, Mood Music and others. He’s also toured beyond Germany with highlights mentioned across Europe, Brazil, North America and Russia, bringing that studio-level detail into a dancefloor-focused set.

Somme Farris is a DJ, event curator, and multidisciplinary artist whose sets connect textural, percussive, raw grooves with Middle Eastern rhythms and sounds, shaped by his Syrian and Iraqi heritage and more than a decade of digging and dancefloor experience. Beyond the booth, he’s the founder of Phact (a sound system–centered rave series built as an alternative to over-commercialized club formats) and co-founder of Alef Sound, a project designing and renting sound systems to strengthen local scenes. His recent appearances span London (Fold, Corsica Studios, Egg, The Cause, Pickle Factory, The Standard), plus dates in São Paulo and Tel Aviv, bringing a focused, physical energy that stays groove-led while keeping the details upfront.

Le Salon Privé welcomes KINTEL and Schiela to Bar Tausend for a groove-led night that stays warm, fast, and dancefloor-focused.
KINTEL is a Berlin-based Mongolian DJ (originally from Ulaanbaatar) whose sets distill years of living across different scenes into funky, groovy house, shifting tempo from smooth rollers into disco-leaning energy.
Schiela (Berlin-based, originally from Northern Germany) brings a high-energy blend of house, disco, hi-NRG and garage, with releases on Correspondant and Gudu Records—built around peak-time tension, melody, and release.

Berlin-born DJ and producer Daniel Steinberg has been shaping house music for well over a decade, known for sets built on strong hooks, tight grooves, and functional dancefloor flow. His releases span key labels including Defected, NuGroove and Classic, and more recently Southern Fried Records, where he collaborated with Fatboy Slim on “Bus Stop Please”. Much of his output lives on Arms & Legs, the label he runs together with Kristin Velvet, with a clear house-focused identity and DJ-ready catalogue. As a DJ, Steinberg brings a high-energy but musical approach, shaped in booths from Panorama Bar (Berlin) to Rex Club (Paris), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Wire Festival (Japan) and Fusion Festival (Germany). Expect a night of direct, groove-led house with the details turned up.

FUNKLOCH returns with a live set from Sometimes With Others — a project moving between hazy rock, slow-burning grooves and cinematic textures, where melody and atmosphere take equal weight. Their sets drift from intimate moments into heavier, hypnotic passages, sitting somewhere between band performance and sonic landscape.

Beyond DJing, she founded Artminding in 2021 as a home for her sound and the ideas of fellow artists, and her productions have appeared on respected imprints including Stil vor Talent (incl. “Local Dialect”) and nown. Her label work and releases underline the same approach you hear in her sets: functional grooves first, with detail and emotion layered in.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Thabo plays a house-focused set at Bar Tausend, built on groove, drive, and a strong emotional through-line. As the founder of Home Again — a platform that grew from an underground party into a label and wider creative collective — he brings a clear, dancefloor-first vision to everything he does. On the production side, Thabo’s releases span a strong range of imprints, including Defected’s DFTD, King Street Sounds / Nite Grooves, Get Physical, Meera Music and more. Home Again also operates as a label — with vinyl releases that reflect the party’s sound — as a direct extension of the community and its musical identity.

Mr. Nylson plays Bar Tausend on Thursday, April 2nd, as part of Tausend Electronica. A defining figure in Berlin’s club scene for over a decade, his reputation has long reached beyond the city. His genre-spanning sets move between disco and house, enriched with global grooves and subtle electronic details — creating high-energy journeys where standing still is hardly an option.
